Introducing LAMP Therapy Approach Training Course

LAMP (Language Acquisition through Motor Planning)

is an evidence-based AAC approach that

helps nonverbal individuals communicate independently

using speech generating devices

• This training includes hands-on practice with LAMP Words for Life® on iPads® and real-life video demos.

By the end of this course, participants will:

• Understand readiness to learn and shared focus in AAC
• Apply motor patterning for language development
• Explore multisensory convergence and its impact on speech
• Implement AAC strategies for children with ASD
• Analyze communication treatment efficacy
• Modify AAC systems to support language learning
• Plan next steps for expanding vocabulary
• Promote generalization across settings
• Use effective prompting and modeling techniques

Dates: Thursday-Friday 15-16 January 2026 OR

Monday-Tuesday 19-20 January 2026

Time: 9am-5pm
